A bank of situations
A bank of dialogue-based simulations that managers complete in short sessions, spaced a week apart, not a one-off training.
A single introductory module sets the context and the theory. A series of standalone simulations then puts the manager through real situations built around their own teams.
Each time, the manager practices a concrete skill: what to say to an employee in the moment, instead of sitting through an abstract lecture on why recognition matters.

The core is a bank of dialogue simulations. Each one is self-contained: a short situation, several response options, an employee reaction that depends on the choice, and a debrief explaining why the chosen line worked or didn't. One introductory module covers the problem, the numbers, and the minimum necessary theory.

Recognizing phishing in the moment
Cybersecurity isn't just firewalls and antivirus software. First and foremost, it's a person deciding, in about 21 seconds, whether to click a link. Most employees go through a security briefing once, when they're hired, and never train that skill again, while attacks keep getting faster and more convincing.
A one-time briefing produces a spike in vigilance that fades within weeks. The gap between knowing what phishing is and recognizing it the moment it lands in an inbox is exactly what a single course can't close.

A training module, plus unpredictable drills
A short, standalone training module covering the fundamentals, plus training drills: simulated phishing attacks that land in an employee's real inbox at random moments, with no set schedule.
The module is completed once, with periodic updates as new attack types emerge, and establishes the principles of recognition. The drills are not a course in the usual sense, but a continuous, unpredictably-timed stream of simulated attacks.
Inside that same module, right after the theory, sits a practice exercise: a series of real or constructed emails the employee marks as safe or suspicious, in a calm setting with no time limit and no pass-or-fail score. It's the bridge between reading about phishing and actually catching it.
Once that groundwork is in place, the training drills take over as a second, ongoing layer: not a course in the usual sense, but a continuous, unpredictably-timed stream of simulated attacks.
The employee doesn't know whether a given email is a drill or a real one, so they react the way they would to an actual threat. The learning happens at the moment of reaction, not on a schedule, and that's the core of the approach.

The training module, built once, outside the schedule of drills, covers the problem, the numbers, and the basic principles of recognizing an attack. It doesn't train the skill by itself. It lays down the vocabulary and framework that the later debriefs build on.
Inside that same module, a practice exercise lets the employee mark a series of real or constructed emails as safe or suspicious. No time limit and no pass-or-fail benchmark, this is a calm exercise in attention to detail, before the real, unpredictable drills begin.

What it's about
There are many JavaScript courses, but most are built for general web development — websites, applications, databases. This one is different: it focuses specifically on using JavaScript inside Articulate Storyline. The goal isn't to turn you into a general developer, but to help you understand how JavaScript works in the Storyline environment — clearly, structurally, and in ways that directly improve your interactive design.
Fundamentals — variables, functions, conditions — are covered, but always through real Storyline scenarios, never abstract theory for its own sake.

It's not a trick or a shortcut — it's a structured way of thinking that turns "trying things until something works" into a repeatable workflow.
What you'll be able to do
By the end, you'll design and build interactive elements in Storyline with intention — translating an idea into a working interaction step by step, instead of guessing or relying on borrowed code. You'll also be able to use AI as a tool under your control, not a crutch: writing precise prompts, adjusting generated code, and evaluating it critically.

How the course is structured
Built in Notion, the course functions as a working environment rather than something to memorize — you always know where to find a specific concept when solving a real project task. Content is organized into two sections:
Section 1 — JavaScript as a Language: Who's Talking to Whom?
A concise orientation module. JavaScript doesn't exist in isolation — it operates within a web environment. This section covers how the browser actually works, what HTML, CSS, DOM, and API are and why they matter, where JavaScript fits into this structure, and what role Storyline plays within it. No abstract theory — only the context needed to understand the environment you'll be working in.
Section 2 — A Practical System for Using JavaScript in Storyline
The heart of the course. Broken down into four clear, easy-to-follow steps for creating any effect or interactive element, covered in detail. Nothing is taught in isolation — every line of code or concept is introduced only when it's needed to solve a specific task. Lessons build on one another, and by the end, this four-step structure becomes your working map: when you face a new challenge, you'll know which path to follow, from idea to implementation.
How each lesson is presented
Every topic is a dedicated Notion page with clear structure and internal navigation. Each page pairs a step-by-step explanation of the mechanism with a practical Storyline example implementing it in a real interaction — theory and practice stay together on the same page. Dynamic behavior and code execution are shown through short embedded video demos, and practical examples include downloadable Storyline source files.
