Four participants, four different situations. The questions you asked, and the ones you didn't, shaped what you learned about each of them.
Let's look at how your morning went.
Typical baseline symptoms include mild evening fatigue, brief morning joint stiffness (resolving within about an hour), occasional mild headache, and mood fluctuation related to living with a chronic condition.
Signs that warrant closer attention: stiffness lasting beyond an hour, any new or fast-developing rash or skin change, unexplained weight loss, fever, shortness of breath or chest pain, or anything the participant describes as “not like before.”
A new symptom is more likely to be treatment-related if it started within 1-2 weeks of a dose change, or if the participant themselves connects its timing to their dosing. Symptoms clearly tied to another cause (a cold going around, a known allergy, an external stressor) are typically not treatment-related.
Missed doses, visits outside the scheduled window, self-adjusted dosing, or new unapproved medications/supplements.
